In a business that prides itself on innovation, ad agency websites can be surprisingly similar. For the redesign of Agency59’s website, we went against the grain, cutting through the clutter with a bold emphasis on visuals and pared-down text. The design aesthetic was inspired from the agency’s circular logo, creating a playful, open world that worked as well in mobile as it did on a desktop. Adding to the playfulness was a subtle motion that invited the user to choose their own path and browse the agency’s work as they wished.
The intent was to create a happy experience, or ‘eye-candy’, which paid off, as the site has been recognized in several international awards shows.
