LinkedIn continues to expand their unique marketing platform with two new targeting groups for B2B advertisers. The new targeting groups are Company Categories and Company Growth Rate.
Company Category contains high-profile businesses based on publications and industry lists (e.g. Forbes, Fortunate, and LinkedIn). This means that advertisers are now able to target companies that are included within lists such as Forbes 100 Fastest Growing Companies, Fortunate 500 (US or Worldwide) and LinkedIn News Editors’ Top Companies.
The second newest addition within LinkedIn audience targeting is Company Growth Rate. The growth rate is calculated by the percentage increase/decrease of the number of employees in comparison to the previous year.

These two new targeting additions continue to elevate LinkedIn’s B2B advertising platform. With these improvements, companies and advertisers can either communicate with SMBs who are experiencing fiscal growth, or create new relationships with enterprise companies. As B2B has a significant role in the advertising and business ecosystem, we look forward to LinkedIn continuing their expansion of marketing tools for advertisers.
