In Toronto’s 100-year-old Tower Automotive Building, Foambox Studios boasts the unique features of a heritage site – 13-foot ceilings, wide-open spaces, iconic pillars and an abundance of natural light – while housing today’s advanced technology.
The 800 sq. foot space is built for photo shoots, sound recordings, editing, focus groups and training sessions.
The studio is an evolution of a much more basic version. “A few years ago,” says Marc Cooper, president of Junction59, “some of our people put together an actual foam box to do voice overs for our clients. It was 2 feet tall. But we’ve been creating a lot more content since then: video, voice overs, animation. So it was time to build a sophisticated infrastructure to support the growing demand.”
The new studio is officially open for business, and is designed to make clients feel right at home.
“As for why we chose ASMR,” explains Curtis Wolowich, ECD, “we wanted to invite people to explore our space and show them what we have to offer. With ASMR being all the rage lately, it was the perfect way to immerse our viewers in a sensory, audio-visual experience.”
Take an ASMR tour of Foambox Studios and see for yourself just how stress-free the space really is.
