On the heels of expanded mandates from existing clients and recent new business wins, Junction59 has added several new team members.
“Increasingly, our clients are turning to us for a more comprehensive and consultative approach to solving their marketing and communication challenges,” says Marc Cooper, President of Junction59. “Driven by several business wins, both organic and new, we have hired some exceptionally talented and strategically focused individuals. Each of these hires brings our clients a unique point of view based on their rich experiences, which ultimately help solve our client’s marketing challenges they face today and those that will come tomorrow.”
Robert Lewocz, Vice President of Brand Partnerships and Marketing, joins us from Studio M. With over 20 years of experience, gained on both the Agency and Client-side, Robert has had the privilege to help influence some of the World’s biggest brands. From BMW to IKEA to Subway Sandwiches, Robert brings a unique entrepreneurial perspective to the Junction59 team and will play a critical role in strengthening our new and existing client relationships.
Lavana Pauk, Director of Strategy, joins us from Mosaic. With over a decade of strategy experience across a breadth of industries covering branding, integrated campaigns, and shopper marketing planning, Lavana brings a unique curiosity for understanding the why behind how consumers and shoppers behave. In her role, Lavana will lead the Junction59 strategy team and is tasked with helping brands uncover insights and develop strategies to change behaviour.
Stephen Crooks, Digital Media Manager, joined us earlier in 2021 bringing over 15 years of digital marketing, strategy, and media experience having worked on a wide range of campaigns for B2B and B2C clients. Stephen, brings in-depth hands-on experience in creating highly strategic and customized marketing plans and is well versed in digital strategy, SEO, SEM, media planning, buying and campaign executions. In-depth hands-on experience in creating highly customized marketing plans.
Libby Sutherland, Account Executive, will play a new hybrid role across account service and strategy. She joins us from King Ursa and brings experience in account management and strategic planning for various retail, alcohol and food & beverage brands in addition to a strong B2B capability in the financial and healthcare spaces.
On the creative side, two new replacement hires complement the Agency’s growth strategy.
Joining Junction59 on a long-term contract is Heather Kinoshita, Creative Director. With stints at BBDO, Cossette, Fuse, Traffik, GUT and more, Heather has made it part of her job to touch every line of business and every medium to better understand how to solve her clients’ business problems in thoughtful, well-informed ways. Over the last 10+ years, Heather has on clients in Telco, QSR, not-for-profit, lifestyle, cannabis, CPG and many more. She’s held leadership roles at a number of agencies and loves getting her hands dirty with the work. Look for her new children’s book launch in 2022.
Wendy Fox, Senior Copywriter, came to Junction59 from TAXI where she wrote lots of automotive copy, worked on new branding guidelines and recently won an Applied Arts award for Egale Canada’s Raise a Flag campaign. Prior to TAXI, Wendy wrote copy at Wunderman-Thompson and Fuse Create.
